Authority
The brand needed to communicate NAWHC’s expanded scope and leadership across workplace health care.

NAWHC had expanded beyond its original focus, but its brand and digital experience had not kept pace. We delivered a complete rebrand, redesigned website, and AI-enhanced resource platform that clarified its position and made member knowledge easier to access.

The organization
The National Association for Workplace Health Care brings together employers, providers, vendors, benefit advisors, and health care leaders working to improve access, outcomes, and value through employer-sponsored care.
Through education, benchmarking, research, and peer exchange, NAWHC helps organizations plan, operate, and strengthen onsite, near-site, shared, mobile, and virtual health centers, along with direct contracting strategies.
The challenge
NAWHC was moving beyond its original focus on worksite health centers to represent a broader future for employer-sponsored health care. Its name, identity, and website still reflected the organization it had been—not the authority it was becoming.
At the same time, years of valuable reports, webinars, toolkits, and case studies were difficult to navigate. NAWHC needed one connected system that could sharpen its position, modernize the member experience, and make its knowledge easier to use.
The brand needed to communicate NAWHC’s expanded scope and leadership across workplace health care.
Members needed a faster, more intuitive way to find research, guidance, events, and practical resources.
The new experience had to remain easy for staff to update through the systems they already knew.

Brand strategy and identity
We renamed and repositioned the association to reflect its expanded mission—from a focus on worksite health centers to a broader role in workplace health care and employer direct contracting.
The new identity balances national authority with human accessibility. A connected symbol, modern typography, and a refined health-forward palette create a system that feels trusted, progressive, and equipped to lead.

Member value
NAWHC had built an extensive collection of benchmarking reports, guides, webinars, case studies, and operational knowledge. We organized that content into a centralized Intelligent Resource Hub built for faster discovery.
An AI-enhanced chatbot adds a conversational path through the library, helping members find relevant answers and resources in real time. The result is a more useful member benefit—and less repetitive search and support work for staff.

Website and member experience
We redesigned the website around the actions that matter most: understanding NAWHC’s expanded role, exploring membership, discovering events, accessing research, and reaching the right information quickly.
The public-facing WordPress experience was built around NAWHC’s existing Wild Apricot backend. Staff can continue managing membership, events, and key organizational updates in a familiar system, while API integrations carry those changes forward to the front-end experience.

Our new name reflects a broader mission to support employers, unions, and their partners as workplace healthcare continues to evolve—from onsite and near-site health centers to direct contracting and other employer-sponsored care strategies.
Thank you to our members and industry partners who have helped shape this next chapter. I'm excited about what lies ahead.
